Razer Boomer Speed 2100 Mouse

Posted by: Newsfactory on: 01/31/2004 07:06 PM [ Print | 8 comment(s) ] · 3691 views

Just got word from our bro's over at the OverclockersClub that their Razer Boomer speed 2100 mouse review is out!

Razer is back! They have a new web site and a new product line with a rebirth of the Boomslang mouse. In April 2001 we took a look at the Razer BoomSlang 2000, a mouse that had no comparison at the time, and truthfully still doesn?t. That is of course, unless you happen to take a look at the latest creation from Razer, the BoomerSpeed.

The new "Boomer" product line has two models. The first one is called the Boomer Control which is 1400 DPI (for the control freaks) and the other is the Boomer Speed which is 2100 DPI. We'll be taking a look at the Boomer Speed today

sigh..If only someone would make an ergonomic mouse with that kinda DPI.

The Boomslang is, by far, the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever used in my life.

Interesting article, would like to check out the new Viper 1000 optical mouse when it comes out.

I do have a question to the admin here though. Why the heck do we have to click though to get to the link to the article??? Why don't you put the damn link on the front page so it is easy to get to???

Nope its supposed to be the same as the mx700..

But a few days ago someone posted saying they were getting something like half the refresh rate on the mx900 compared to the 700.

Karlotta is right, the bluetooth mouse is crappy..

I had 3 of those. At the beginning they are pretty uncomfortable. But after a few days its actually much more comfortable than anything else. I switched to smaller ones but they all make my hand hurt. but somehow the razer is still not that great as they say. it is that heavy and big that it actually makes precise aiming much harder. except maybe if you have mouse skates and a mousepad with silicone spray on it. this mouse a little lighter and easier to move and a 5th button that is actually useable (I never used the outer one because my finger cant reach it that well) and this would be a perfect mouse. oh yea... optical too please since I had to clean my razers about 3-5 times a week.
