Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.231 (Cat 6.3)

The new Omega Drivers based on the Catalyst 6.3 are ready! If you take a look at the readme you will notice that I added a new wide-screen resolution, 1024x640, Why so low?, well, thank Oblivion for that, the game requires so much muscle that I created that resolution to get playable frame rates with everything maxed out.

I have to admit. I once loved and used every Omega driver for both Nvidia and ATI, back to my Geforce 4 Ti 4200 days. But... these seem to just take too long now to be released. I don't want to bounce between the official releases and these. I will use one or the other and since it takes so long I'll just stick with the official releases (unless something is horribly wrong with official release and Omega has a fix and it's better than rolling back). Outside of that, thanks for the drivers from years past but it's the end of March now and 6.4s will arrive soon so not worth the switch at this point. |
