Amazon.co.uk are showing a release date of December 31st, 2004 for Activision's Quake IV! What do you think?

considering id have allready said that it won't even be showing at quakecon as it's 'we're really happy with what raven are doing but it's not ready for public viewing yet' i find this fairly laughable. |

IIRC, amazon.co.uk had that same release date sometime early last year, they probably just haven't got around to putting it back yet |

Q4 is mainly a SP game, sequel to Q2, dunno how extensive the MP will be.. Doom3 engine, and D3 seems limited to 4 players even tho its said not to be a engine limitation.. Also, 31 dec sounds odd, why release just AFTER Xmas. Would be neat to se some screenies of Q4 soon tho. |
