PS3 GPU More Powerful than GF7800

Looks like the XFanboys over at Team Xbox have been spreading dirty rumors about the PS3's powerful RSX graphics processing chip. Yesterday, according to Team Xbox's report on an article by the British site the Inquirer, it was reported that the PS3's RSX GPU would not be as fast as the GeForce 7800. Later in the day, TeamXbox retracted the story after a representitve of Nvida contacted the site to set them straight. [ Link ]

I personally don't give a damn about who will be faster since I don't have this "e-penis" complex. ;P However that article sounds more like a rant of an utter fanboy than many of the flames posted as comments in the same article. Where are the facts? |
