GamersHell.com send words that UBI Soft has released Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Far Cry, Command & Conquer Gold and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon as free ad supported games. You will need an Ubi.com account and you must live in the U.S. to play the games.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time takes place within an exotic, mysterious world representing Persian architecture, animals and attire. After his father invades the palace of the Maharajah, the Prince, tricked by a treacherous vizier, uses a magic dagger to release the dangerous Sands of Time from an ornate hourglass. With the aid of a beautiful, mysterious, and potentially untrustworthy ally, players embody the Prince to recapture the Sands of Time and restore peace to the land.

In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon you and your team conduct extensive missions on foot, but you'll occasionally have assistance from troops in tanks, helicopters and close air support. In many cases, you'll be working with international military forces and NATO to fight against rising dictators and rebel groups. Be prepared to scope out the defences of an enemy, blow up bridges to stop an advance, raid rebel bases, and rescue an American pilot who gets shot down deep in enemy territory.

In order for C&C GOLD to run on Windows XP, you will need to burn the ISO image onto a CD with a CD Burner and any "CD Burning Software" such as Nero, Alcohol, etc. There are also a few extra steps in order to make C&C GOLD run on Windows XP after you burn it to CD (press 'read more' for details).

#66410 Posted on: 09/01/2007 08:01 PM I just tried to specify US in my UBI account ... and this works And now I see why its limited to US only ... they did not include regional advertising ... I do get advertising for a 1$ menu from Macdonald's here in Germany While the advertising works quite well ... I find it a bit too intrusive ... next to some banners in the game menu, you will see a short ad movie over and over again I have played around with the POP game for like 1h now and seen the ad video about 10-15 times But all in all I really think this is a good step into ad supported gaming

#66411 Posted on: 09/02/2007 12:24 AM I just tried FarCry and this totally rocks Full game No copy protection Already fully patched (1.4) and ad video only during loading screens (which - if you know FarCry - appear not so often), plus a few banners in the main menu
