POP-UPS

Posted by: Newsfactory on: 05/20/2004 03:42 PM [ Print | 8 comment(s) ] · 2144 views

Is it just me that's getting Pop-up ads for Ringtones and that F***ing credit card page from Capital one! every time you refresh warp2 or open a second page for warp2.

These ads are coming from Bannerfarm! I'll check with NT to what's up?

Update: Until we can get this Fixed all stories today will have direct Links on the FrontPage.

Grrrrrrrrr I don't mind banner adverts! But these pop-ups appearing every time I load a new story or change the page, I get a pop up! If this is the doing of W2S its VERY annoying! Please remove it if you are responsible as I can't take much more of it!

Haven't seen a pop up in months, with great thanks to the good folks at Mozilla.org for their Mozilla Suite and also the Firefox browser!

Well I use Avant Browser, Got tired of Mozzila. No pop ups here as it blocks them, but they are still there. Have always been there as far back as I remember.

I got lavasoft adaware, spybot search & destroy and spyware blaster. With these I don't see the ads in the pop-ups but I still get pop-ups. No longer! Win XP sp2 integrated pop-up blocker! I know m$ is bad but its just easier.
