CD Freaks has put up a review of the much anticipated PX-712A drive. This is one of the few 12x drives that will be released and the challenge for Plextor is to write 12x on 8x media as 12x is not supported by the DVD+RW Alliance and no manufacturers will release 12x media besides Plextor itself.
