Pirated Versions of Vista to be Handicapped

Microsoft is doing everything within its power to deter pirates from using unauthorized copies of Windows Vista. Its latest move disables a key feature in Vista, but is it enough to deter pirates? Microsoft's latest strategy is to disable the fancy Aero Glass user interface for pirated copies of Windows Vista. DailyTech

Lol. even IF they are successful at all, they just fixed a major problem with vista, way to go M$, dumbasses. You just made another reason for me to pirate it with that "cripple". One less thing I have to disable after it's installed, but it's unlikely I will ever use that POS anyway.
But I will have no problem handing out hundreds of copies to ppl who want it. Blow me gates and ballmer.

And yes I know that's what they want. They want windows to spread even if it's pirated, but I will do my best to make sure they don't make as much cash off vista directly.

Depends on the areas you're looking at, yours is a laughable arbitrary number regardless.

The Intel version of Panther or whatever it is called has been out for some time now... works fine on AMD if you get the right version.
