We stumbled across a few pictures of Apple's Aluminum G5 enclosure with the Intel board visible inside. Apple is making development boxes available to select ADC Premiere members for US$999 at this week's WWDC conference in San Francisco.

Nice, but now I wonder if we'll get a chance to see one with the AMD Athlon64 inside? I'm curious if we'll be able to install the version of Mac running on systems like this on existing PC hardware?

An Apple case with PC guts in it.. I don't see how they can charge insane prices anymore.. They should let OS X be installed on any PC to increase their market share(Run MS out of business!). Apple can still sell their fancy cases...
