Peter Jackson exec-producing Halo movie

Microsoft has revealed that Lord of the Rings and King Kong director Peter Jackson and his partner Fran Walsh will be acting as executive producers on the Halo film.

About time a video game based movie gets someone who knows what they are doing...hopefully they won't do LOTR type stuff tho. I loved LOTR and Chronicles of Narnia looks awesome but the whole "gigantic army" thing is gettin kinda old now. |

Well, there are some levels in the game where you have to kill hundreds of aliens, so let's not discard that possibility. I'll be happy NOT TO SEE AGAIN the first person hands-weapon view they used in another movie.  |
