Painkiller leaked

Thanks Brian for this contribution Another big name to add to the list of leaks:/

Looks legit... and it looks like the November Press Preview.

I suppose we couldn't have stopped this getting out eventually. That's why it's clearly labeled as a Work In Progress. It's not even good enough to be a demo, so I personally wouldn't bother with it unless you really have a burning need to play pre-alpha software.

I'd recommend waiting for the official demo.

quite boring mindless killing with 100's of monsters that all look the same, as it is now. The big boss is quite impressive though, in size and looks.

It's basicly Serious Sam in a more gothic environment.

This probably exactly what Valve did. Just more and more Developers are going to do this now so they can use the Excuse of a delay. Where's the Benchmark program that was supposed to be out 3 months ago?

Valve are nothing but liars and feeds of the newbies and people who believe them

how about no press releases? then no leak, and perhaps no delay?

Then we wouldn't have an idea whats "good" and by good I mean what those stupid hacks that do the reviews that are paid by the companies to like call it.

Well, I never heard about it until now. Beginning to wonder if those "leaks" are really PR stunts :)

so what, who wants to play HL2 anyway?

The really good games were lucky now not to be neglected due to the delay of HL2. It's very unfortunate that PR hype and marketing can steal the interest of those many truely excellent games out there like Silent Hill 3, Broken Sword 3 or Vietcong.

It's way too polished for an alpha, it's the same demo as has been previewed by a few sites.

I think it was intentional for publicity, but it don't really bother me since it is a fun demo. :)
