This guide suffers from being too short with too little info. 4 pages long with like 1.5 - 2 pages of content at best. There's no real 2000/XP info either. The author seemingly doesn't know that you enable DMA in 2000/xp in IDE/ATAPI Controllers -> Primary/Secondary IDE Channel -> Advanced Settings in either of these. Instead recommending XP users download some utility. Sigh. |
