Surfing the web has now become safer with Opera, including technology from GeoTrust, suspected phising sites are identified immediately. The latest version now includes new real-time Fraud Protection.
Phising is a form of online fraud to trick users divulging personal information, credit card numbers, or bank account details. Among all of the available sources of phishing data, Opera chose PhishTank, operated by OpenDNS and its community members who have shared their stories and experiences at Gift of Safe - a community collaboration between My Opera and OpenDNS. We support this initiative and want to encourage you to take part in helping us share information and increase the chance of eliminate phishing all together
