Here's a new set of Forceware Drivers in the shape of 97.44 WHQL
for Windows XP/Media Center Edition and Windows XP Professional x64. This driver only supports Nvidia's GeForce 8800 GTX and GeForce 8800 GTS! Dated: December 8, 2006
Release Highlights:
Supports GeForce 8800 GTX and GeForce 8800 GTS GPUs. Game and application compatibility fixes. New PureVideo technology features allows GeForce 8800 GTX/GTS to achieve a score of 128 in the HQV video quality benchmark: Improved inverse telecine algorithms (2:2 & 3:2 Pull-down Correction) for standard and high definition content. Improved spatial-temporal de-interlacing algorithm (for standard and high definition content). Includes the new NVIDIA Control Panel. Use NVTray provides some extra quality tweaks that both the default NVIDIA tray icon and control panel are lacking. I especially wanted to be able to select more Antialiasing modes, as well as OpenGL and Direct3D options right from the tray icon. Also, the utility is able to run automatically at startup thus making it a bit easier to change my settings before playing a game or running a benchmark. This program requires .NET Framework 2.0 to support a broader range of systems.

Eh, it's another hold-over anyway. Forceware 10x is supposed to be out in 2-3 weeks, which is the "real" G80/Unified driver release. It was supposed to be out Nov 8th, with the G80, but they had issues and had to delay it. |

WHQL is BS anyway. I don't give a ***** if my drivers are blessed by the worthless douches at M$. I always run the newest Xtreme G versions and lovin it. |
