Just got word that the guy's at 3DCenter have snagged some Info on Nvidia's upcoming range of grahics cards NV40, NV41, NV45! as the the sites in German, I've added a Babel fish translation.

"opposite NV38 and Shader doubled more efficient pixels" At first I wondered what the writer meant with that but then I saw that article is just an translation. That sentence should mean "in contrary to the nv38, the nv40's shader unit has doubled in performance and efficiency" All in all those specs doesn't look that bad. As the R420, the nv40 also supports everything from DDR1 up to GDDR3 which is a good thing... now we just have to wait for more details and some benches |
