The New Nvidia drivers have just been released, but are they worth downloading? The NVidia Forceware 66.82 WHQL drivers have just been released. We decided to run some benchmarks and try them. We ran two games: Doom 3 and CS Source.

Yeah he's right 61.82 and they suck compared to the 66.81 unofficial release.

They are optimized for FX cards, thus making other cards slower. And Im not that sure if FX cards run well with it either.

I got an FX5900, and CSS seems to run smoother in dx9 mode. I havent noticed any difference in doom3, but then again my fps is well over 30 somewhere and thats all that matters.
