The Inquirer reports that Nvidia and mobo maker Abit have stopped working with each other,
And that's not because Abit has gone down the ATI route. It's due to what are described as "irreconcilable management differences".
The split, which we've confirmed with Nvidia today, affects not only graphics cards but also mainboards too.

Oh dear. I remember some people saying here saying there was such news coming up . Could this be it ? I cant say im surprised ive heard from many sources that nvidia have a real attitude problem recently. Hopefully Abit will make a few radeons now, i always liked their geforces. I also hope that they continue to support the Nforce products they have because they are great. |

Nvidia didn't have a problem with Asus making Radeon cards or maybe Asus didn't have a problem making Nvidia cards? Nvidia has a history for acting like a child when a graphics card company makes another card other then Nvidia. Anyone remember Hercules VS Nvidia? When Hercules made a Kyro 2 based graphics card and Nvidia had a sh*t. I love Nvidia's Nforce 2 line of cards and I'm sad to see Abit lose them. I don't mind the Geforce FXs. Those can suck it. |
