Saw this: Oh and I also found an interesting new enrty in the .inf file, for real:
NVIDIA_NV35.DEV_0332.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT"
Read More.
The 5900XT is a low end 5900 part.
Core clocks: 390 MHz
Memory clocks: 350 MHz
It still has a 256 bit memory interface though.
My contacts tell me it'll be marketed as sort of a high end mid end board so to speak. (The closest step up from 9600XT/5700Ultra.)
cheers to Anton from NordicHardware.com :)

If they produce a card with XT in the name,it will be the nail in the coffin..... Has anyone at NV got an original idea? |

"The 5900XT is a low end 5900 part." Technically, all 5900 parts are low-end, so instead of a new name, why doesn't nVidia just lower the price and call it good? |

Nv will have a 5700XT, too 5700 with lower GPU-/memory clock than a standard 5700 It seems the name convention was chosen to confuse ATI customers as with ATI XT is faster but with NV XT is slower |

I wouldnt say the 5900 is a low end part. I would say its not a very good high end part. |
