There were some discussions of a new stepping of the nForce2 SPP chipset lately. While most people thought those are the new chips that are available on some version 2 of boards, it seems that this is not the case. Below is a picture on how you can identify this new SPP Ultra 400 chipset.

imagine that... to differentiate between the classic nf2 and the ultra 400, the ultra says "Ultra 400" that's pretty sneekie. i dunno if i could have figured that one out on my own or not... |
