Next-Gen Consoles

GameSpot have thrown up a new article called "Next-Gen Consoles: Facts and Speculation" which looks at Nintendo's Revolution, Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360! It's well worth a Read?

The Revolution should have the processing power to be competitive with Sony and Microsoft. The system will feature an IBM processor code-named "Broadway" and an ATI graphics chip code-named "Hollywood." Nintendo has also confirmed that the Revolution will be backward compatible with the GameCube.

Nintendo has been extremely cryptic about how its new system will bring about a revolution in gameplay. Many have speculated that the changes will simply make games more approachable for the uninitiated, while others are convinced that the new system will offer fantastic new technology like 3D projection display support.
