Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 NoteBook/Audigy4 Pro Newest YouP-PAX ZS Driver ver. 1.2 for Win98SE/ME/XP/2003.

Update: Thanks to Fanbanlo we now have the correct link to the YouP PAX-NewYear 2005 Installation Pack and news of the up coming SB Live 2005 New Year Pack! Hit Read More

In 2005, we got nice drivers, "PAX NewYear1.2"(SBLive drivers is still modding) from YouP. Next mission is to install Audigy2 NoteBook/Audigy4 Pro on SBlive//Audigy/Audigy2/Audgiy2ZS series(includes AudigyX Platinum). But we only got Audigy2 NoteBook(A2N) ISO file(special thanks linxeye), A2N's applications are same as Audigy4(A4N) Pro's except a few applications, like "telecommand", "entertainment center', "minidisc center", etc. missed. So we initially thought we were only able to install those applications of A2N on SBlive or Audigy2 through modifying, and work was done almost perfectly for Audigy2/Audigy2 ZS. But I found Creative released lots of updates on its official website including A4's and A2N's. Then, YouP found all new features and applications from these updates! He was so happy that suddenly finished modding for Audigy in a half a hour only. But SBlive only can use some applications of the new software package. Yesterday got a new modding thread in his mind, and modded lots of applications for SBLive model: 0100. Today he has been continuing to mod for SBlive.

So, there are two Software packages: Audigy X 2005 NewYear package and Live 2005 NewYear package and multi-language supported but Japanese. Because of Live 2005 NewYear package has not been released, I just post some pictures for it only. And I will edit this thread when the latest package released.

SB Live 2005 New Year Pack

Direct translated from YouP's words:

dated: Jan 29

Something comes up. The other expert modder Mr.
UP (UP0501) has took over the mod of the driver portion. So it will not be based on 5.12.01.0444 as originally planned, but rather the newest 5.12.10.1042. I [YouP] will keep on working on the software hacking portion. The expected release date would be before Chinese New Year 2005.

WARNING: I don't think the link is correct!!!

The download files are dated 2004/01/21 !

Yes, there's a new version out, but the translation and everything seems to be refering to the older driver... ~_~

AOL has Creative and the whole new soundblaster technology beat - just wait and see.

America Offline ? I doubt it. Until they ditch their crappy newbie style interface, they will always be a loser company.
