A new email-worm - Mimail.c - has surfaced. Not much is unusual about this one, but i thought it worth mentioning because the payload comes as a zip compressed file, so it will slip the usual file extension filters in most email programs.
So be sure to have your Anti-Virus installed and running when checking your mail. You can read more details about the virus and the actual payload at CNet.

Ever wandered for whom virus warnings are actually useful? Right, only for stupid people who don't want to use anti-virus software. So why bother, they don't want to listen and smart people are already protected. |

Anti virus software is only good upto a point, it can take a few hours or a few days for an update to be avaliable to protect you against new threats. It doesnt hurt to be aware just in case. |
