New SiS IDE Driver

A new SiS IDE Driver has been released (28-10-2002). It's the first official SIS IDE Driver made.
If you have a rather new SIS chipset on your motherboard then this driver is for you. It's version 2.02 and supports SiS SouthBridge 961, 962 and 963.
Several motherboards can use this IDE Driver.
Some of them are as follows:
MSI 648 Max
Asus P4S8X
and also all other motherboards with SIS 645 and 648 chipset feature the Southbridges accordingly.

All SIS based motherboards with chipset SIS630 or newer are able to use tihis driver . SIS 63x 73x and 745 are single chipsets combining a Northbridge and SIS961 Southbrisge into one single chip . |

About Time SIS got off their sorry asses for IDE Support.. Finally my PCchip M571 can be properly have IDE support in winxp/2k.. it was pretty sad that the system was going at PIO mode... yuck.... |
