Realtek have released new Drivers for the RTL8139 (A/B/C/D/8130)/810X series, version 6.15 for windows 98/ME/ 2000/XP! Dated 2004/07/28.

I've been given head several times after updating my NIC drivers - this may or may not work for you. |

gives ya higher driver file numbers and later dates. you CAN do some tweaking in the ADVANCED section of the network adaptor in the Device Manager... |
