New Half-Life 2 Screenshots

IGN have snagged a trio of new Half-Life 2 Screenshots showing off in-game action from Valve's upcoming shooter.

update: Read More for the Half-Life 2 dev kit coming soon?

Gamers looking for a positive sign in the ongoing Half-Life 2 saga may be in luck. A recent Halflife2.net post features an e-mail attributed to Valve engineer Rick Ellis which says the software developer kit for the mega-anticipated sequel "will be released soon." Presumably, the game's release would be not far behind--possibly even ahead--of the SDK's.

These are old... The third one is concept art, not a screenshot

Almost every single comment I read on W2S is overwhelmingly negative and cynical, it's really disheartening. It's like people just want to slander everything. I generally like to click and see what people think, but it's easy to predict anymore..

O haha I didnt even know half-life 2 was released....you wouldnt honestly make a judgment before you played the actual release you paid $50 for now would u? Yeah i didnt think so, no until you have forked over any of your money give Valve a chance.

its only "slander" if the comments made are false.

as far as i can see they are mostly correct in their cynicism.
