Cdfreaks.com reports that Ren Hoek mailed us to inform us about an open source CD/DVD emulator. There are already a decent amount of emulators, but this one is special. This program will let you interface between a real device and will create a virtual device for it. Currently there are only 3 filters available: like this one!

Unrestrict DVD: This filter removes various usage restrictions from a DVD, including region lockout, APS (Macrovision), and disabled fast-forwarding, menu call, angle change, and so forth.
