Fraps is a tool that lets you monitor current framerates in a corner of the screen for programs utilising DirectX or OpenGL technology. It also allows you to easily take screenshots of games, and manually determine the average framerate between two points.
Whats new in Fraps v1.6A.
Added OpenGL support for non MS implementations (WickedGL, CosmoGL, 3dfxGL)
The OpenGL state is now saved correctly. This may have caused black screens or other weirdness in some OpenGL titles.
Better support in DX8 and OGL for games running in windowed mode.
