This just in from Zardon at DriverHeaven.net!
I just had a chat with Terry Makedon in ATI and he says the new catalyst drivers will be out next week sometime. He cant give an exact date, but im hoping by me posting this you guys who are emailing me will stop.
So all we need now is a little patience, not long to go !

Why do I have the feeling a "christmas" shader will be included? |

Sounds like a great Christmas present for the computer. I believe this version comes with those new features we've all heard about. At least I'm hoping it does. |

Aren't these just going to be the 3.10 betas but certified? |

If, as is said to be in this case, whql = hotfix, then why is whql > hotfix? |

Hmmm, better e-mail Zardon and see if he knows what it is... |

MY point is that some beta drivers are sent in for whql testing with nothing changed...the official 3.10 drivers may very well be exactly the same code as the ones released a few weeks ago with only a "signature" attached to it by Microsoft... |

dude, I'm fully aware of what whql certification means. But if, as has been stated by a couple of the ATI driver guys, the current hotfix driver set are the same ones that will become the 3.10 WHQL set, then how, exactly, does whql certification make them magically better? |
