MS AntiSpyware vs Ad-Aware vs SpyBot

Microsoft AntiSpyware offers plenty of features which is sure to turn some heads. Not only does it scan for spyware/adware, it can also offer real-time protection which prevents spyware from being installed in the first place. Though Microsoft?s new toy offers really nice feature as we are about to explore, how well does it match up against the already known spyware removal champs; Ad-Aware and SpyBot S&D? Let us find out.

Though this review is mostly focused on how effectively each application can detect spyware and adware, I want to just mention a few features I enjoyed while using Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta.

MS AntiSpyware is not bad - but it is not as good as the Original Giant Program. To say that it is beta is also somewhat misleading - this implies that it is a new program still under development and likely to get better. MS AntiSpyware it is really just a cut down version of the Giant program - even including some of the Giant bugs. Only time will tell whether MS improve or destroy the product.

You carn't half tell the person who wrote that is an MS Fanboy , I Have used all 3 and Giant(oops sorry MS Beta SW) did not find any thing that the others had not found, How can you call a program that all you have done is change a name in a beta .

[QUOTE]
AntiSpyware Beta does an extremely well job for an application still in beta phase when it comes to detecting and removing spyware/adware; and a nice job when compared to the alternatives such as Ad-Aware and SpyBot S&D.

Why even bother to read past the first lie ?

I use both Spybot and Ad-aware and I tested this program a few days ago.

It was capable of finding some things that the other two could find.

You are wrong, the post is not a lie, since he never mentions the use of Giant. Maybe you need to learn how to read before jumping all over Microsoft like every other ignorant pc nerd out there thinking it's still cool behavior.
