Nope, I'm jumping ship. No way will that fit in my case and it sucks double the juice the 8800 does, at 300 watts. I'd need a PS near 1000 watts with my two burners, 3 hard drives and the various case fans if I bought the R600. The most the 8800 takes I heard was around 180 watts and it's shorter.

I've bought the last two cards from ATI and this time I'm done.

That's a prototype and nobody has the power chart of the card.
Look at the lenght of it - it's just like a X1900 (perhaps a tad longer) and of course the cooler won't be the one you see in the pics!
Nobody wants another GF5800 in their case.

Well, it's even written in the ZDNet page you visited:
"ATI R600 Prototype".

Of course everybody is curious to see a piece of hot hardware like this one. I'd take the prototype in a jiffy if they'd let me :D
