Moore Approves Fahrenheit 9/11 Downloads

Posted by: Newsfactory on: 07/04/2004 10:19 PM [ Print | 13 comment(s) ] · 3267 views

Just spotted this bit of news over at Slashdot.org!

Michael Moore has expressed his approval of Fahrenheit 9/11 being downloaded through networks like BitTorrent and eDonkey2000. He also champions a very Lessig-esque outlook in his reasoning. Quentin Tarantino's earlier support for such practices is also mentioned. Meanwhile, Lion's Gate says it has no plans to oppose the practice.

That's just because the liberal (OMG! yes he is one) wants his word to be spread. The more people he can infect his lies and propoganda with the better.

Throw morality out the window! Sounds good to him!

Then again, the movie has already made them a ton of cash and will still be making a ton for 'em when it hits DVD.

Still, very cool. :)

So who has a good telesync/telecine link? All I got is the icky cam one so far...

AMEN to this!!

I think Moore could care less if he loses money by his movie being spread through BT and edonkey networks. I doubt he had much intention to make that much money off this movie in the first place.

Like you said, the more he can spread his political opinions the better for him.

It would be nice if he would release a better quality version himself.

As the one available for download now is a shitty cam.

He's only saying this so in 5 years time he can make a film complaining about P2P downloads!

And he knows very well why. All those cootie and pimple infected pirate kiddies are now hailing him as their new god. So if he gives them the thumbs up they will surely join his planned sect in the future.

He still tells more truths than that inbred monkey in the Whitehouse.
