Microsoft has recently added new peripherals to update its product line; one of such peripherals is the company?s Wireless Optical Desktop 4000 keyboard and mouse duo. The product features a zoom slider, which would allow you to zoom in on pictures, maps, documents and webpages effortlessly. Similar to other mice in its product line, the second half of the Wireless Optical Desktop 4000 features Microsoft?s Tilt Wheel technology, which will essentially let you scroll through webpages horizontally and vertically.
As always, Microsoft touts a comfortable ergonomic design with its Tilt Wheel technology for effortlessly scrolling through webpages horizontally and vertically. Two things that really stand out with this mouse is the longer battery life and something called "Smart Receiver". Microsoft now claims to have a three times longer battery life than any of its previous mice, which is certainly a pleasant element to the overall product.

Hopefully these will be good. I've got a logitech laser mouse and am really starting to hate it. The buttons tend to have shaky functionality if you're pressing more than 2 at once and the side tilt doesn't work with almost anything. I like MS's mouse software and hardware a lot more, so I hope this is worthwhile. If only MS would make a mouse with one more button...much like the logitech gaming mice. Then I'd never need another mouse again. |
