Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer (Night Vision) Review

Posted by: Newsfactory on: 04/05/2004 11:10 PM [ Print | 4 comment(s) ] · 2296 views

Hardware Pacers has posted a review on the Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer (Night Vision). Here is a snippet:

The Intellimouse Explorer is an elite mouse that possesses innovative technologies and combines them with elegant design quality. Microsoft hired Leatrice Eisman (Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute) to help them produce a mouse that would be visually appealing to computer users. Leatrice's style sense has created colors that can match anyone's taste. The partnership between Microsoft's technical expertise and Leatrice's color and design skills have created an excellent blend of functionality and beauty.

yeesh...

That wasn't a review, that was a shameless plug!

Not one bit of technical information - hell, they don't even say if they used it themselves or not! They just looked at the control panel mouse section, and regurgitated the MS propaganda for the rest of it =/

I love the look of the limited edition, but no base station no buy.

Its stupid to use batteries even if it lasts 3x longer the the previous model. Plus i dont like the fact there is "no click" when i use the mouse wheel (i've tried a demo of the 4D wheel and found it meh for the price).

I dont want to be running to the store for batteries when i'm in the middle of a game.

THEN GET AN MX700 AND BE OVER WITH IT.

Logitech has owned the Mouse market for the past 10 years. Every Microsoft optical mouse blows. Low DPI count and no rechargable station. This looks like a "MATRIX" mouse for fanboys.

*sigh* Sadly intelligence doesn't grow on trees.

I thought the review was pretty good. Probably more professional sounding than I have ever seen. At least there was finally one review with proper grammar and sentence structure.
