Microsoft opens XBox Live to the PC platform

Microsoft this week extended the Xbox Live network to the Windows PC platform, as it launched a Windows Vista version of the Halo 2 game.
Microsoft plans in June to launch Shadowrun, which is the first game that will allow Windows gamers and Xbox 360 players to get involved in cross-platform match-ups and play each other online.

This is either funny or stupid or both because as a pc gamer you can almost own any console gamer. It's way to easy. I would own them. |

Look at it this way, there will be a lot of servers to choose from, and they will be populated. I think pc gamers will find themselves some good adversaries in the console crowd who equally challenge the skills of a seasoned mouse/keyboard gamer. Especially in games like Graw/Graw 2 if cross platform is ever supported for such titles, a lot of pc users would be in first person, while the 360 guys are in 3rd person lurking around a corner...waiting. |
