Microsoft Longhorn 64-bit Screenshots

Winbeta.org sends word that they've snagged some screenshots of Microsoft's Longhorn 64-bit version!

Testing of the latest generation of Microsoft's Windows Longhorn Professional 64-bit for AMD build 4051 (yes, the PDC 64-bit release) is yours for the asking - BUT - this release is ONLY for those of you who chose to ride the ragged edge of raw computing muscle, the Ferrari of processors, the Athlon and AlthonFX 64-bit processor clan. Some of us with the effervescent Opteron may also wish to indulge, whilst those of you who are quietly pasturising your Itaniums, don't worry, we won't tell anyone on you...

The article doesn't come out and say it, but it almost suggests that no beta for Itanium is out while one is out for AMD 64-bit. You're right, this is a big deal. A big deal indeed.

"Once the territory of only the server, it's now building momentum (after the false start by Intel's crippled pacer of a processor called Itanium) in an exponential explosion catalysed by AMD's Athlon and Athlon FX 64-bit superstars."

64-bit is the best thing since sliced bread!

These 64-bit screenshots look at least twice as good as comparable 32-bit screenshots. 64-bit will be the biggest revolution ever, change your live for the better, make your wife completely happy and safe you at least 100$ a month.

geez, the writer of the article must be living in dream world to write such a BS like the quote above. He certainly awakes wet every morning due to his "AMD is god" dreams...
