I have recently been informed that on your site you link to www.tech-critic.com have , detailing the presence of Messenger Plus! 2.0 Beta, and that you may also maintain a mirror of the software in question.
This software is protected like any other software under both national and international copyright law. The terms of the relevant law state clearly that all rights to ownership and the legal right to make copies of this software reside solely with the author, in this case Cyril, and his designated agents.
You have never at any time either contacted Cyril for permission, nor received any such permission, in any medium, including but not limited to written, email or telephone. As such your actions are clearly illegal, and I must request the you immediately remove any links, textual content or other program information. In its place you may place a link to the officially designated distribution website www.patchou.com/msgplus/.

Warp2 and Tech-critic don't even once claim ownership of his software, hell they even promote it and link to the guys own website! This is obviously another case of a stuckup idiot feeling a need to boost his ego by making everyone come grovelling to him just for a chance to link his program on their site, he should be happy people are promoting and distibuting it while still giving him the credit. I just can't stand people on the 'net who call up lawyers and legal BS whenever they don't like something. |

What a thoughtless and disrespectful comment. If he wants to be the sole distribution site for his own work, he is entitled to that. Whatever his reasons are, you should honor his wishes. No deep linking or mirroring. |
