Just saw this @ 3dgpu.com

I asked NVIDIA about Macrovision being enabled when using TV-Out with the latest Detonator 40 drivers. Since a bunch of you are wondering about this, here's the response I got from them:

NVIDIA is a Macrovision licensee. We are required to turn on protection for all driver releases. Macrovision has been on in our drivers for over 3 years now.
