Techgage has reviewed Logitechs latest premium Headset offering, the 350, which is due out in April. They promise superior sound, both input and out, and a great comfort level. It's meant to be an overall Headset, for all purposes, including Gaming and other Multimedia.

I reviewed some Gainward ones which I liked for what they were, but I find no advantage and several disadvantages to USB headsets. Just a decent set of regular earphones generally works as well if not better, and they're a heck of a lot simpler and less resource intensive....not to mention you're also able to use 'em with your mp3 player and such. I guess I just don't get the point of USB headphones. |

I agree with digwanderer ...... usb headphone are shite. i know a couple of people with them and half the time they have to leave the server because their headphones suddenly stop working. You dont see pro quality headphones on stereo equipment using usb... so why do we have to? If they did the same headphone with normal connection i'd get some tomorrow. I would love wireless headphones with a wireless mic as well. Now that would be a top seller for PC gamers. |

" i know a couple of people with them and half the time they have to leave the server because their headphones suddenly stop working. " Hmm, that's odd. I've played Counter-Strike for over 18 hours with the 350, and have not had that happen. I would have included that in the review if I had heard of this happening to other headsets. Kind of interested now to see if this will happen.. |
