you have been copy and pasting news from a weird site without getting the real info. This is 9.80 for the MX510 all it is is support for that mouse!

The latest is 9.79 for all others!

AC is right.

Anyone happen to know what the deal is with this 510 MX mouse?
It's not listed on Logitech's product's page, only in the downloads page. ???
It looks kinda' spiffy.

I've also installed these on my Mx310 and they didn't give me any problems. I didn't even know these were for the 510.

Yea, I looked at the driver dates and these are a few days *older* than the 9.79.1 drivers. Nothing superficially different so I'll keep 9.80 on.

Dude, chill out.

They work for every logitech mouse product (I've tried this new driver with every MX available but the Bluebooth one and with a couple of regular ones and every single one is recognized as supposed.

off course it will support other mouses ALL the differnce is the 510MX support! hence why it isnt really mouseware 9.80. So installing it for other mice by logitech wont really do anything apart from possible errors. Its one of them fast deploy installs just for the mouse hence no official release for ALL the logitech family.

Oh well the upgrade freeks will continue to have the LATEST updates without knowing what they do :/
