This is a Matroska Playback Pack for minimalists who hate bloated Codec Packs. It will install only 3 DirectShow filters (kudos to Gabest and his project guliverkli).
Features:
- Matroska Splitter 1.0.2.4
- RealMediaSplitter 1.0.0.9
- VSFilter 2.33b
This installer only contains three DirectShow filters: 2 splitters (essential for playback) and VSFilter (essential for subtitles). Therefore, you may need to add audio filter(s) and video decoder (such as ffdshow, DivX5, and XviD 1.0) by yourself.
Windows 98/me users and Windows 2000/XP users have to use different builds of the same filters (Unicode vs Non-Unicode versions); the proper ones will be automatically selected by the installer.
