kX Project Drivers 5.00.3534 Released

The kX Audio Driver which is an independent WDM (Windows Driver Model) driver for all EMU10K1 and EMU10K2-based soundcards manufactured by Creative Technology Ltd. and/or E-mu Sytems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live! series, the E-mu Audio Production Studio (APS) card, and the Audigy series of cards, has been updated.
The kX Audio Driver package includes driver system files and setup files as well as a powerful audio mixer application (the kX Mixer), which acts as a Graphical User Interface, providing access to many of the driver's internal functions.

I've tried several versions of these KX drivers with win98se. Its lockup city. |

I've tried KXProject and the Creative Drivers for a Creative 5.1 SE, I had less troubles with the KXProject Drivers in WinXP. May take a small amount of extra effort to use the kxmixer(maybe) but I still prefer it. Whatever tickles your fancy. |

I've never had a problem with them with XP. And they're easily better than the Creative drivers, especially if you're into making music. |
