Klipsch Promedia 5.1 THX Speaker System Review

FiringSquad has a new review online on the Klipsch Promedia 5.1 THX certified speaker system. From what you read they were more than satisfied with the setup. If you are on the watchtower for new high-end speakers check out this review. And start saving some cash. Klipsch did much more than just throw together an extra satellite from the ProMedia 4.1 series and call it a day. The satellites of the 5.1 are unique and now feature spring-clip speaker terminals instead of a mono mini-jack connection. This is what I wanted in my first review of the Klipsch?s a few years ago, so that you could replace the stock speaker wire with some more beefy speaker wire. Even if you don?t want to get into the high-end boutique wire, this setup gives you much more flexibility in terms of speaker placement for large rooms. Review @ FiringSquad

They are excelent epeakers, but are THE HELL spensive man. I was on the chase for new speakers and have decided for the Cambridge Megaworks 510D that are in the same level of the Klipsch ones and cheaper, much cheaper. I am very satisfied, and they connect via digital DIN to the Audigy so I can enjoy the 96 Khz dogotal sound from my sound card.
