Is Open Source and Free Software the Same?

Have you ever used the term open source and free software interchangeably? If yes, you are making a mistake. I find this quite annoying when people who call themselves GNU/Linux gurus doesn’t even know the differences between the two. Most of them consider them the same. Actually, Eric S.
