The new version of IE ships with Windows Vista. The new version of Firefox is currently in beta. Which one is worthy of your screen space? We test out the features, tab support, search functionality and interface on the two new beta browsers.
Internet security has become a massive issue over the past 18 months. The large amount of attacks against Internet Explorer and Windows XP have caused many people to switch to Firefox out of sheer panic and regard for their system integrity.
Both IE and FF include pop-up blockers that are switched on by default, so no changes there. But both new browsers claim to tackle the increasing problem of phishing - websites that try to trick users into revealing their account details for online banks or services like PayPal. How do these new features stack up?

You can't even move the toolbars in FF. The tabbed browsing is limited in options. |

Bit pointless when neither browser is yet final. |

Well I tell ya, I one selling point of FF 2 over IE 7 (or just current FF over IE) is one single feature for me... FF's AdBlockPlus, period. |
