How to Get Cell Factor Working with No Physx Card

So check out this forum post from a [H]ardOCP reader (lowrider007) who owns a Ageia PhysX card. It seems that the "Cell Factor" game which is supposed to not run at all without a Ageia PhysX card can run just fine without it.

Install the demo, install the latest physx drivers from their site and add EnablePhysX=false to the CF shortcut and voila, no physx hardware but fully playable game and most importantly full physics

and it works :)

runs supprisingly smooth at ultra settings(1200x1200 max everything) and I don't have QuadSLi

I still have to test if you can play it online if you know the IP of the other person

btw it is possible it only works with the 'high-settings' shortcut

you will know what I mean when you have installed the game

If you have any questions or problems ask me here, I always forget personal messages ^^

of course I meant 1600x1200

besides the soundtrack is very good

all and all they clearly spent time on detail

ambiance concerned it has a painkiller feel to it
