Thanks to Tim @ Majoregeeks.com for this tool: Freeware HijackThis, a general homepage hijackers detector and remover. Initially based on the article Hijacked!, but expanded with almost a dozen other checks against hijacker tricks.It is continually updated to detect and remove new hijacks.

Although it did find the remains of my recent run-in with lop/ayb entry, it did NOT remove it. At least it found it so I could manually regedit it out. |
