Half-Life 2 to be Pulled from Retail shelves in August?

The recent settlement in the long-running legal spat between Valve and VU Games will see Valve's entire portfolio of boxed product being pulled from shelves in August - creating a potential loss of millions to UK retail alone.

I can only laugh at Valve now. I hope they choke to death on their Steaming pile of shit. But with that many idiot fanboys, that is most unlikely. Haha. |

LOL...this is great news!!! Valve can gobble up my nuts i love the graphics and sp game and do enjoy hl2dm but to rerelease an updated css with no changes but graphics is crap...........do yourself a favor play sp/hl2dm and uninstall rest of game. |

More developers should take to the web and completly elimite the distributing costs, which accounts for a large percentage of profits. Publishers should still stick around, they are good marketting machines. Valve 1 - Corporations 0 |

I dont care downloading games. But Steam is just crap. If other idiot developers buy Steam as a platform or develop similar, then we will soon see zillons of background programs. For each game 1. YAY!!!!! |
