Hackers Find New Vista Activation Crack

With all the talk about Microsoft's stepped up efforts to curb piracy through Vista's new activation methods, it may all be for naught after some crafty hackers figured out a way to crack the Vista Activation Server.
It should be noted that Home and Ultimate editions do no accept KMS keys, and still must use the traditional activation method -- although more secure in Vista -- of calling in directly to Microsoft themselves.

Ah, the battle between hackers and MS. If someone is absolutely determined to avoid buying the software, they WILL eventually find a way to make it work. At the same time, you have to wonder if enough people are willing to go to the trouble in the long run. I can't see another devils0wn thing happening quite so easily. |

What is this Vista? I heard very little talk about it. Your right, in the long run it's just not worth hacking. MS will eventually lock it up tight so that updates and features won't be (easily) reached. |

Yes in the end it is a loosing battle but the battle is fun to watch. Never let out a program and say this is not hackable if it is built and compiled by a person it can be undone by a person. |
