Google ads coming to a video game near you as Adscape deal closes

Rumors have been flying for months about a Google buyout of Adscape, a San Francisco-based in-game marketer. The deal is now official, and though no financial details were released, the deal was earlier estimated at $23 million. Whatever the amount, Google has officially entered the in-game ad market, but they're keeping the specific plans under wraps
One big question about the deal is what such ads will look like. Is Google planning, for instance, to bring its all-text AdSense technology to a virtual billboard near you? All the company will say is that "it is too early to say what the ads will look like." ArsTechnica has more.
