Just got word from TweakTown that their Gigabyte 7VAXP-A Ultra - Retail VIA KT400A review is out.

Our first VIA KT400A retail motherboard to hit the labs comes from the folks at Gigabyte. Over the past two years Gigabyte has done a fantastic job in improving their products to please enthusiasts' users. Today Cameron "Sov" Johnson takes a look at the Gigabyte 7VAXP-A Ultra based on the new, single channel KT400A chipset. How does it perform against the older KT400 and nVidia's nForce2? Seeing as i only bought a Abit KD7 with the KT400 2 months ago it makes me feel good thet the KT400A dosent perform any better.

Looks like VIA is loosing the plot... next NB will have a nice NF2 for me!

Yeah me too. I got one of the predecessors, the Gigabyte GA-7VAXP - VIA KT400 which I got last February.

But I think my next motherboard would be something like an NForce 3/4.
